In my third year of working this tree. When I got a hold of the material, it had 3 branches coming off the back, a lot of deadwood, and a telephone for a trunk. So what to do ??? I could of just wacked it down to the lowest branch and started from
Can someone help me decide where to trunk chop this logwood? Currently, it looks longer than I like and the taper is not defined. I will probably do the chop next year (2013) but want to help channel growth this spring to the branches I want to remain,
so i picked up this campeche bloodwood down in florida a couple years ago from http://wigertsbonsai.com/ ... it is a native of puerto rico i believe, so needless to say it is a tropical and one of the ones i decided to keep from the great (and on-going)
