After many attempts I have come to the conclusion that there is NO hard and fast rule for various cuts of meat but I have found that the most reliable methods are..... 1) weigh the meat 2) calculate the time and Temp. in the old way 3)reduce both time

Cut your joint of meat in half( you are going to slice it when cooked anyway) This reduces cooking time and ensures the joint is cooked fully.
