Does anyone have any information regarding Shelf pottery? I have one piece and I quite like the style. But I know little about it apart from Shelf is near Halifax (I should know that being a Yorkshire lad!). Kind regards Taylor
Hi, Have purchased a few bits of pottery this last weekend and am trying to establish a little more. (Only pots we have are W.German). Each mug is backstamped, saucers are unmarked. Heavily crazed inside. Wondered what range they might be from (if any)
The only marks that I can trace resembling the conjoined NP on this jug appear to relate to Nairn Pottery in Scotland. Their mark however seems clearer and more distinct than mine. Again all thoughts and suggestions welcome and appreciated. John
