Chantel. Could you explain some of your criteria for the masonite board you use? I have a painting I want to do that will be 24 x 40" and I'm not sure exactly what I should look for in masonite, especially the thickness. Judy

We are working on a board - Port of Innsmouth (hi Lovecraft fans). Some of the surface of the extruded polystyrene foam is getting gouged as we remove this annoying metal sticky paper from the foam. Also the foam has some sun damage from exposure.
Next weekend I'll be building (finally) a game board. My plan at this point is to build a basic grassland style board, and base it on pink foam. But I'm not sure how I want to do the surface. Sand is pretty common, but it scratches minis pretty easily.
I don't think she has a choice in the matter, one of my common BNs is currently sitting on the waterline of my tank with one fin sticking out. She has an enlarged belly and I'm hoping it's not bloat. I have attached a picture and would appreciate
