Hi All, Japanese Black Pine. Tips of needles - 1mm from tip brown, and then the next 3 or 4 mm light green and then the rest of the needle is a normal colour. Is it needle blight? Any ideas what it could be and how to "fix it"? Cheers, and

Hello Here's an example of pine grafting. I've attached six japanese red pine shoots to an american ponderosa pine. I don't happen to like the look of the ponderosa pine needles. To me, they are too long and messy. I was going to use mugo pine.
